Well, it had to happen sometime. I turned 40 this year. All in all, the years have been pretty good, and I've got nothing to complain about. This year, I've settled into my new house, adopted a lovely Shiba Inu named Toby, and have made some terrific new friends in my new/old hometown.

After thinking about what I wanted to do for my birthday, I decided that I really wanted to cook up some fun new recipes and drink some really good wine. Mission Accomplished!

Since this wasn't a traditional wine tasting, I'm just going to list the food and wine that was served.
