July 3, 2003 - Well, I've been reading up more about Web Standards, and decided to start converting my site over to a completly CSS formatted design. The homepage is done, soon I'm going to do the rest. First though, I'll probably try and implement a new design since I'm really tired (and bored) of this bland one.
June 7, 2003 - Once again, it's been way too long since I updated this site...I'm working on a new design, but in the interim, I decided it was time to make sure that the current site was more standards compliant. I am currently working on making all of the pages XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS compliant. When the new site goes live, I'll be attempting to create it using only a "Web Standards" implementation, meaning that it will be done using only Cascading Style Sheets for formatting. No tables will be used for layout.
I also am working on spell checking all of my pages. Some have had typos for an embarrassingly long time. ;-)
June 7, 2003 - I updated my Tartan page to include both a representation of a modern as well as an ancient Keith Tartan. Hopefully this will appease the people who complained that the old images were way too bright (and almost day-glo). They are still just computer representations, so obviously they aren't exact matches of any true tartan cloth.
October 28, 2001 - Updated "A Prom to Remember" wine tasting page as well as added 12 new photos to my Gravestone photo gallery.
September 5, 2001 - Updated Holocaust bibliography with some new titles, and added links to Amazon.
September 4, 2001 - Finished updating source files to include standard copyright statement, include comments (hidden in ASP), and removed old pages made obsolete by database (approximately 90 pages removed).
September 3, 2001 - Did some programming to make my photo gallery pages database driven (hopefully this will mean I can quickly add more pictures in the near future.)
August 28, 2001 - Was contacted by a publishing company about using my image of a Starfish in Tidepool for a book.
Summer, 2001 - Updated more of the "Entertaining" section with more wine tastings and recipes.
December 10, 2000 - Added new "Entertaining" section to the site. Also started adding css to several pages.
October 22, 2000 - Started working on the graphical design on the new "revised" site. Fixed basic page errors, and started building a site map. New sections will include "wine" and "holocaust".
March 7, 2000 - After many years of staleness, I'm finally going to start the redesign of this web site! Check back over the next couple of weeks to see all the changes!
Apr. 11, 1999 - Updated interest page, added memorial page, added page on Falconry.
Nov. 2, 1998 - Links to Texas A&M Marketing site (using one of my pictures).
Sept. 27, 1996 - Added new "Home" button to toolbar, corrected several spelling mistakes.
Sept. 27, 1996 - Started cataloging my X-Files Collection.
Sept. 25, 1996 - Added new X-Files Collection pages. (Includes trading information.)
Sept. 22, 1996 - Moved WWW site from BSDI server to Linux server. Converted pages from HyperMagic format to "standard HTML".
Sept. 21, 1996 - Wrote a new counter CGI using Berkeley DBM and hash tables.
Sept. 18, 1996 - Updated server to run Linux 2.2.0 and Apache 1.1.1.
